Background
Dr Jeff Foster BSc (Hons), MB ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP is an NHS GP Partner, and Private GP with a specialist interest in Men’s Health.
In addition to his NHS work, Dr Foster is the Director of Men’s Health at Manual and also the Medical Director and founder of H3 Health, the U.K’s first male and female health clinic aimed primarily at those over 40.
Before studying medicine, Dr Foster completed an honours degree in Physiology at Kings College London. He went on to study medicine at Warwick Medical School, and has lived and worked in the West Midlands since graduating in 2004. Since 2012 Dr Foster has worked as a GP Partner at a busy NHS practice in Leamington Spa.
In addition to his core general practice work, Dr Foster has also gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and, until September 2017, worked as a Staff Grade doctor in the Accident and Emergency Department at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, accumulating over nine years of accident and emergency experience.
In 2012 Dr Foster started becoming interested in Men’s Health as a subspecialty within in General Medicine. Realising that no speciality looks at Men’s Health holistically, he developed his interest in this area so as to provide a service that filled the gap that is not offered in standard medical practice. Over time, his clinic developed, which led to various opportunities to provide education sessions for doctors and the general public on many areas of Male Health, as well as being afforded media opportunities such as appearing on This Morning, BBC News, the Liz Earle Podcast, Instagram video with Davina McCall, and publishing over 100 articles for national magazines and newspapers.
Outside of work, Dr Foster is married and has two children. He enjoys fitness, is seen daily at the gym, and still plays football once a week (badly), in a medics team he has played for over 20 yrs. He is the medic and occasional coach for his son’s junior rugby team, and values that time outside of work with his family.
